Littlehaven water quality: public drop-in on 12 November

Littlehaven Beach, by the mouth of the Tyne, currently has a "poor" bathing water rating. Northumbrian Water, the Environment Agency and South Tyneside Council are holding an open drop-in to explain what is being done to improve it. When and where: Thursday 12 November 2026, 4pm to 7pm, at the Little Haven Hotel on River Drive. It's a drop-in event, so you can come along and talk to people from each organisation.
